Biography

I am currently an Assistant Professor with the College of Electronic and Information Engineering, Shenzhen University. Before that, I was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at City University of Hong Kong, working with Prof. Kede Ma. I received my Ph.D. degree in Information and Communication Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology in 2024, supervised by Prof. Yongsheng Liang. Prior to that, I obtained my M.E. degree from Dalian University of Technology in 2019 and B.E. degree from Harbin Engineering University in 2016. I also have industry experience as an Intelligent System Engineer at Mindray and as a Research Intern at Peng Cheng Laboratory.
My research interests lie in "Intelligent Compression and Efficient Computing," with a focus on areas such as multimedia visual data compression, AI model compression, and dataset compression. The goal is to reduce the resource consumption of AI systems throughout the entire pipeline of storage, deployment, and training.
